Description
This course is a beginner integrated-skills course that focuses on preparing students for communicative English to use for successful integration into an English-speaking community. It incorporates the 4 language skills; reading, writing, listening and speaking, in addition to, vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation. Topics include: English for shopping and going out to stores and restaurants; Relationships and family; Traveling and directions; Local things to do and see in Canada; Using English to discuss personal activities and life events: likes/dislikes; Vocabulary for the workplace.
